The KYDDS
Church, marquee, and one seriously epic party.
What can I say about the Kydds… They told me they were party people — and wow, they were not wrong! The loveliest group of people, the most beautiful setting, and non-stop laughter from start to finish.
Hannah and Hamish were married at their local church before driving off in a beautiful vintage car to Hannah’s family home, where her parents’ stunning garden had been transformed into the perfect party venue.
Hannah and Hamish originally booked me for a reduced package with a 3-minute film, but later decided they wanted a little more and upgraded to the full 7-minute edit. Their day was filmed by me using both my modern digital camera and my vintage camcorder, with the add on of some incredible guest-cam footage captured by star bridesmaid Ella! This has ended up being one of my favourite combinations of the year.
Their delivery includes a highlight film blending all the best footage together, a teaser film, and all the guest-cam clips edited into one long film so they can relive all the chaos, fun, and messages of love.
A big shoutout to the best men for their help with the mics, the maid of honour for saving me with Marmite bagels when dinner ran a little late.
Hannah and Hamish, you’re surrounded by the most wonderful friends, there was so much love in every moment of your day.
