Movie inspired wedding at 100 Barrington Rd, London

Dawn and Ollie booked me just seven weeks before their wedding, and their request was simple: “We’d love for this to be a fun and lively video, nothing too emotional or sentimental.”

After our first call, I knew straight away that I wanted to film their wedding. Both have such a wonderfully dry sense of humour (so do I) and were so easy to talk to that it honestly felt like chatting with old friends. I really believe this is a huge part of finding the right fit with your wedding suppliers. Of course, you need to love their work, but you’ll also be spending the whole day with them, around your friends and family, so it’s just as important that you actually like them too.

Their wedding did not disappoint. From start to finish it was both laid-back and full of energy in equal measure. Every single speech had me in tears - of laughter! It’s a strange thing to feel so genuinely happy for a couple you’ve only just met, but that’s exactly how I felt.

Their first (and only!) kiss of the day was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, but the way they laughed together all day long spoke volumes, proof that love doesn’t need grand gestures to be felt by everyone in the room.
