Jasmine + Zubair

An Intimate Wedding Celebration at Templeton Garden

Jasmine described their wedding as one big girl dinner, and honestly, that's exactly what it was. No strict timeline, no pressure to do things a certain way, just good food, good music and all their favourite people in one place.

It was the late May heatwave, when London was all hazy skies and sticky evenings. Hidden away near Earl's Court, Templeton Garden felt like a little pocket of calm. It was my first time filming a wedding there, and I was completely won over. Jasmine and Zubair had exclusive use of the gardens which were beautiful, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, find a shady spot and enjoy the afternoon at their own pace.

Guests caught up over drinks while Sophie Sutton's live vocals drifted through the garden, adding to the atmosphere without ever stealing the moment.

Jasmine and Zubair kept things simple. They included a candle-lighting ceremony before everyone sat down for speeches and a seriously good dinner.

As the sun dipped and the evening cooled, the music got a little louder and the dancing started. Just a little moonlit boogie to round off a day that felt relaxed, joyful and completely them.
